I Adopted a Villainous Dad - Chapter 195
“Congratulations, President. No, is it Viscount Helene now?”
The chairwoman inside the magical device was cute and adorable as always. Because she was so cute, Helene and Garret were the only people allowed to look at her.
“I still don’t believe it.”
“That’s okay, take pride in it. I’m behind you,” Amelia said confidently, and Helene smiled involuntarily as she nodded.
All over the world, the culinary industry was shaken by the sudden free disclosure of the Korean spicy sticky rice recipe. Amidst all the people surprised at the occurrence of what was perceived to be impossible, only one person remained calm: Amelia.
‘I have no idea what the chairwoman is thinking,’ thought Helene. Only Prime Minister Achillios could guess Amelia’s thoughts.
“Are the chefs unhappy?” asked Amelia.
“No. It is a recipe that could not have been completed without the chairwoman anyway. There are still a lot of new dishes left.”
Most people believed that the restaurant offered the recipe to the princess, who then suddenly decided to disclose it.
“We’ve been flooded with requests to formally learn the recipe from all over the world. Quetel, one of the Eastern United Kingdoms, even wants to send their king’s chef.”
“Haha, that’s fun.” Though Amelia said that, she was so calm that it was like she had anticipated this.
“There will be no drop in sales in the short-term, but I think the sales will take a blow in the mid to long-term.”
“Don’t worry too much, Helene. The original recipe never fades, no matter how much time passes.” Amelia propped her chin on her hand. “The restaurant business will be fine, since from the very beginning it was meant to raise capital for other businesses. See? There’s nothing wrong with McDowald, the real cash cow.”
Helene reflected on the last few years. The fast food business had hit the jackpot, and soon after, Amelia had established a bank, claiming that the real prize was in the financial industry. At first, only the people from the upper metropolitan area and a few nobles managed the bank. But when the aristocrats started earning money from the bank interests, almost everyone opened an account, and the Melmil Bank was reborn as the Helsarose Central Bank.
‘She built a school because there were no talents available to work for the company, and built a general hospital while claiming that there must be one,’ thought Helene.
Amelia had then suddenly formed a contract with the country, stating that clean water was the pinnacle of sanitation, and started on the roads, water, and sewage work after that. Then came the railroad. In the meantime, she had also shown her generosity while saying, “The Lana family is in the closing business, so I won’t touch fashion.”
Yet the Wildlife Protection Act had been put in place, prohibiting the marten and fur business.
Melmil Company used to be so small, but had now grown so large that the country would be in trouble without it.
‘There must be a reason,’ Helene thought, ‘Because the chairwoman is one who did it.’
She supported the chairwoman’s decision with her steadfast faith.

“What do you think, Luci? Do I look like a young aristocrat?” Amelia, dressed in clothes sponsored by Lana, spun around in front of Luciana.
“Perfect!” The maids clapped. “The best, the best!”
Unlike her maids, Luciana didn’t seem to like the situation at all. “Are you really going to the secret auction house with Cedric?”
“Of course I will. It’s a secret auction being held by Genthal, something even Achillios’s worldwide information network couldn’t find out,” I said. Genthal firm was one of the top three firms in the continent, and it was based in the Southern Empire. It was especially famous for holding secret auctions which had everything.
