Chapter 20 – Let Us Make You Talk More
Speaking till here, he saw that Si Nan Yan was shivering involuntarily. She was obviously frightened. Since she only had such small courage, how did she dare to speak those words?
This young woman, it was not easy to worry about her.
Although Ye Zheng was younger than her. But, in the end he had followed Yan Wang closely for many years, so he is very experienced. Ye Zheng did not say much, he only stated:
” You, rest well and the following day you may have hard work.”
After that he sighed and shook his head, leaving the room quickly.
His last words were with a good intention to warn her repeatedly. However, when Si Nan Yan heard it, it simply sounded like a grievance, and she couldn’t help but look pale.
Yan Wang requested her not to register as a slave, but follow him closely as a female attendant page?
Not being a slave, in other words, she suddenly became a slave once she was reborn. Of course, she was already very fortunate compared to the other female attendants and the maids who had died under the chaos.
But following closely His Highness Yan Wang aside…..
Isn’t it clear that it’s a torment? Besides, Zhu Feng’s moodiness likes to kill people at every turn. She really had to listen to him or how could she live for several days ?
Maybe not as fast as those who were killed by his sword.
Just after eating half a bowl of porridge and finally managing to accumulate some energy, Si Nan Yan slowly lifted up her hands and slammed it on her mouth:
“Let You talk more!”
Until this time, He Yi who stood outside the courtyard was relieved. He Yi looked at Si Nan Yan’s regretful face. He covered his mouth and was somewhat unable to restrain a smile. The quiet, cold moonlight illuminated his corner mouth which was a bit indifferent smiling expression, yet at the next moment his gaze again became deep and he turned around to leave.
The night passed quickly.
Early in the next morning, Zhu Feng got up.
When the sky was still dark, he walked to the palace hall outside. He would practice a set of swordsmanship just like he used to at Yan Wang mansion and in the military camp.
After years of guarding the border, he realised that martial arts could not be abandoned, but it also became his means of venting an enthusiasm in his heart. That three-foot long sword in his hands, was like a swimming dragon, gradually turning into a few cold light with the light of brilliant rays. With the blast, the leaves on the treetops fell and the swords and winds flew one after another.
Si Nanyan followed after Ye Zheng and walked in from outside. When she looked up, she saw this scene.
Zhu Feng wasn’t aware of them. His breath almost blended with sharp swords and the whistles. His whole body seemed to have an invisible power. Even the black, soft, soiled clothes on the body became abnormal because of the strength used. The forces became abnormal, he raised his hand and threw his feet, his clothes fluttered on the air, just like the wind.
Si Nanyan was suddenly stunned.
In the last moment, Zhu Feng and the sword stood firm, breathless, and the fallen leaves just fluttered around him. He was like a winged butterfly swaying and drifting.
He slowly turned around caught the sight of Si Nanyan and Ye Zheng stood under the pavillion.
He walked over until he reached Nan Yan and looked down at her.
Yesterday she was still half alive, this time it seemed a lot better. But her complexion was still somewhat pale and her outer eyes looked a bit wan and shallow(haggard).
It seemed like last night she didn’t have a good sleep.
Suddenly he felt a bit annoyed. Why did he care about this one?
Think of that, the atmosphere started sinking.
There was a little sweat on his body, and his breath, with a warm, even slightly hot breathing, blew on Nan Yan’s face all at once. She stared blankly at him, not knowing what he was going to do.
