Chapter 4.1: Is He Really Just a Cultivator?
Outside the manor, Tang Qing looked at the magnificent seven colored light in the sky and stretched his body. This kind of rainbow light was like the sun that had just risen in the morning, warm and comfortable. After a walk around for a while, he felt a little tired. Thus, he leaned against a red tree and laid on the grass.
Tang Qing suddenly opened his eyes and focused them while looking at the elephant that was charging towards him. It should be an elephant, silver white all over, huge in size, with two tusks at least one meter long in front of its mouth, four thick limbs like four pillars, each of them almost two meters long, and what made this elephant even more terrifying was that it had three eyes, the center of its forehead had a blood-red color, like a blood-red eye.
A worried voice sounded in the air. Then, a white figure came running over from the manor.
The Three-eyed Elephant swung its head as if it had gone crazy, angrily staring at Tang Qing. It opened its mouth and roared, and just as it was about to pounce towards Tang Qing, the corner of Tang Qing’s mouth flashed with a playful smile, and his body suddenly leaned forward, mimicking the bark of a dog.
Strangely, the Three-eyed Elephant-Beast that was going crazy suddenly stopped in its tracks. Its pair of savage eyes began to panic for some unknown reason, and then it began to slowly, carefully, step back.
“Hehe, you timid fellow.” Tang Qing grinned and laughed.
A white shadow flashed, and a woman suddenly appeared. She was dressed entirely in snow-white clothes, her black hair fluttering in the wind, her face perfect, eyes calm, standing barefooted with an extraordinary temperament. She was the Big Sister Yun Mo that Shangguan Ling had mentioned.
“You… Are you alright? ” Yun Mo also frowned, traces of surprise could be seen in his calm and collected expression.
“You own this crazy thing?” Tang Qing shook his head, indicating that he was fine.
“It’s my mount, it’s a Three-eyed White Elephant. A few days ago, it was injured so its mood was unstable. I’m really sorry, did it scare you?” Yun Mo bowed as she apologized. Then, she scolded the Three-eyed White Elephant. “Little White, go back.”
The Three-eyed White Elephant acted as if it didn’t hear her, and stared at Tang Qing with its pair of eyes. It couldn’t stop itself from slowly stepping back.
Yun Mo was extremely puzzled by this scene. She could clearly feel that the Three-eyed White Elephant had been frightened. How was this possible? She also knew how arrogant and proud the Three-eyed White Elephant was. In the past ten years, it had never shown the slightest bit of fear whether it encountered a ferocious ghost or a terrifying demon. Why was it this time, it was facing an ordinary person that was so afraid?
What was it afraid of? What was it afraid of?
What could this young man possibly do to make it feel fear?
Yun Mo’s beautiful starry eyes stared fixedly at Tang Qing. Just as Ling’er had said, he did not have any cultivation, and his body was very weak. How could an ordinary person make the Three-eyed White Elephant so afraid? Yun Mo could not understand no matter how much she thought about it. She was a famous person of her generation with profound knowledge. Furthermore, her master was a person whose name could shake the world. At this moment, however, she was completely at a loss.
“What did you do just now? Why is my Lil ‘White so afraid of you?” Yun Mo blinked and asked softly, “Can you tell me?”
“I did nothing but frighten it.” Tang Qing yawned again. He rubbed his face and shook his head, “I didn’t expect it to be so timid. What a waste of it to have grown so big.”
Yun Mo stared at Tang Qing in an attempt to see through his heart. He hesitated for a moment before shrugging his shoulders and smiling, “Perhaps so.” Then, he changed the topic, “I just heard from Ling’er that you were the one who cured her Flaming Black Horse on the way here. I really want to thank you for being willing to help. If Ling’er has offended you in any way, please do not take it to heart.”
“Offended? No, not at all.” Although Shangguan Ling looked a bit fierce, she did not offend him.
“I don’t have any good food here either. I’ve just picked some fruits, if Young Master Tang doesn’t mind…” Before Yun Mo could finish speaking, Tang Qing directly replied that he didn’t mind because he was too hungry, so hungry that his chest was close to his back.
In the room, seven or eight different kinds of fruits were placed on the white jade table. As for the origins of these fruits, Tang Qing could not even name them, but he was too lazy to ask, and when he sat down, he did not even bother being polite, and directly took out a red fruit to eat. They were sweet and delicious, melting immediately after entering his mouth, and the fruit juice contained spirit energy.
Yun Mo originally wanted to take this opportunity to get to know Tang Qing, but as she sat here, she discovered that she did not have the chance to speak. This was because this fellow in front of her had always been eating one fruit after another without stopping.
She had interacted a lot with the young geniuses, but this was the first time she had met such a special person. How could she have met someone who didn’t even have basic etiquette? Furthermore, this fellow really ate like a tornado. With more than ten fruits, it only took him a few breaths to finish them all in one fell swooshed.
After all, she was the owner of this place, right? He didn’t even ask?
“I wonder, where is Young Master Tang’s hometown?”
Yun Mo asked softly. That fellow acted as if he didn’t hear anything and continued eating.
Yun Mo tried asking a few more questions, but without exception, all he could see were the fruits. If you're not reading at Word Excerpt and you're seeing errors, then you're reading at an agg-re-gate channel.
