Chapter 9 - Transition (19)
In a blink, he pulled me in by my wrist. Shocked by the sudden escalation of events, I collapsed right onto his torso. He wrapped his arm around my waist and held me tight. Before I knew what was going on, I was sitting on his lap.
Sniff. He buried his nose into my neck and inhaled deeply. I just sat there trembling with my eyes wide open. After sniffing again as if to reconfirm, he opened his mouth.
“Are you a beta?”
I simply nodded. He tilted his head and murmured, “Really?” and smiled. Unable to contain my gasps, I went through the cycle of collecting the oxygen in my mouth and barely managing to gulp it down. Keith opened his mouth and bit down on my neck.
In that instant, I sharply swallowed my breath. My whole body shivered at the sensation of my tender skin being sucked on, loosely but persistently. When I hesitantly put my trembling hand on Keith’s shoulder, he grabbed it right away and placed it around his neck. Keith crunched down on my neck. I flinched, and he moved his hand that was hugging my waist and pulled my shirt up before smoothly stroking my back and coming around to the front of my body.
“You’re pretty flat even for an Asian, aren’t you?”
He chuckled, having already moved his head down. Before I could stop him, Keith bared his teeth and clamped onto the protrusion. Unable to hold out, I desperately held onto his head. Sucking softly yet violently, Keith felt up my bare skin.
My conscience was scattered everywhere. The scent of the pheromones that were seeping out from Keith’s entire body soaked me all the way down to my spinal fluid. Repeatedly gasping for breath, I frantically ran my hand up and down his body.
When his hand slid into my pants and grabbed firmly onto my behind, I gaped open my mouth. However, it was Keith who shouted first.
“What the hell?”
Having been soaking myself in his sweetness, I couldn’t react right away. He violently pushed me away. With a blunt noise, I felt my entire body ache. A part of my conscience returned to me only after I had been thrown onto the floor like a cloth rag.
Keith was standing tall, looking down at me. To be precise, he was glaring daggers at me as he clenched his teeth. His scent that was so unbelievably sweet until mere seconds ago scattered wildly about, messing with my head. As I inched away, still sitting on the ground, Keith spat at me between his clenched teeth.
“You’re a guy?”
I blinked in shock. However, he didn’t demand any replies from me. The proof of my manhood was blatantly exposed over my half-pulled-down pants.
When he saw my miserably shriveled up member, he hastily put his palm over his mouth. In the next moment, he was dry heaving like mad with his face turned away from me. All I could do was stare at his wide back.
“You f*cking c*nt, what the hell are you doing to me?”
Keith yelled, his voice cracking. His purple eyes had transformed and were now ablaze. I held my breath in surprise.
They weren’t the signature purple of Extreme Alphas. A pair of golden eyes—glistening like the desert sand under the burning rays of sun—was staring back at me.
‘What just happened?’
Amidst the confusion, I became curious. I had heard of some people whose pupils changed in color depending on their emotional state. Was that the case with him?
Back then, I didn’t know that the eye color of Extreme Alphas changed whenever they secreted high amounts of pheromones. While I sat there blankly, Keith’s enraged pheromones poured out like a waterfall and filled the entire tent. I was buried in so much pheromone, I had difficulty just trying to breathe.
When I noticed him glancing around as if looking for something to use as a weapon, I was hit with a belated sense of fear and pulled myself back onto my feet with all my strength. I didn’t know how I would end up if I sat there any longer. Every scenario I imagined, of course, ended terribly.
There was no time for me to argue that it was Keith himself who had come onto me first. I bolted out in panic just as I saw him grab onto a long pole. My legs buckled and I face-planted onto the ground with a shrill cry, but I couldn’t even feel the pain.
He was tearing about like he was ready to beat me to death. If I hadn’t run away, he certainly would have. There was no reason for him not to.
As I struggled back up and continued to run, he threw all kinds of insults and curses at my back. Even as I staggered, I sprinted with all my might without looking back once.
When I finally reached a distance where I couldn’t smell his scent, I collapsed onto the ground as I desperately gasped for air.
