After these words were spoken, Nan Yan’s entire body broke out into a cold sweat.
As soon as the man heard her speak, The footsteps that were already stepping out of the door stopped. He slowly turned his head and looked at Nan Yan.
“You know who I am?”
Nan Yan somewhat had a difficult time opening her mouth:
“His Highness, Yan Wang!”
The man’s eyes flashed, plastered with a strange glow.
Nan Yan was almost certain that his name was not wrong, nor did she guess wrong. the man in front of her is none other than, His Highness, Yan Wang.
Emperor Gao Zu’s fourth son. The current emperor’s uncle(Shú Fù).
Yan Wang—-Zhu Feng!
His Highness Yan Wang held massive military forces and the power to overturned the imperial court and the opposition. He defended the border stations several times from the Northern Tan country’s invasions. Once praised by the Emperor Gao Zu as “The Weapon of the Nation; Nation’s Outstanding Able Individual”.
However, Who would of thought that this Outstanding Able Individual would go so far as to start up a military rebellion merely three years after Gao Zu’s imperial death day. But even choosing this evening to force their way into the Imperial City!
At this time a lot of people outside were suddenly running towards them. They seemed to be his subordinates. Seeing Qin Palace erupting into a large fire with Yan Wang still inside they hurriedly shouted.
“Your Highness, it is on fire here, Your Highness come out quickly.”
Yan Wang did not pay attention to them, he only looked at her coldly:
“What is your name?”
Nan Yan lightly whispered:
“I…I am called Si Nan Yan….”
Zhu Feng slightly wrinkled his forehead:
“You are surnamed Si?”
The people outside did not know what was going on inside, and saw that some of the beams were about to be burnt off. They all panicked. Someone was even ready to rush in to rescue Yan Wang.
However at that moment, Yan Wang all of a sudden raised his right hand, and the long sword crossed the door with a cold light.
Suddenly, all the people stopped and did not dare to move forward. The long sword was still dripping with blood at the tip.
Nan Yan’s heart beated more and more violently. Her life was in the hands of this master. Towards the ice-cold eyes she showed no fear, stubbornness born from the desire to live was present in her eye and it was like they ignited the city on fire.
Finally Yan Wang stepped forward.
Once again he stepped slowly, walking to return back to the bed. Suddenly he sliced the long sword down and drops of blood spilled onto Nan Yan’s face.
But at the same time her wrists became loose.
The ribbons tied to her wrists had been cut off!
The sword’s light flashed as the long sword quickly withdrew back into its sheath. Nan Yan felt surprised in her heart and she sat up hastily, but when she moved, she forgot the thin quilt and it was already sliding down. She cried out in surprise and hastily grabbed the quilt to cover up the front of her chest.
Looking at her panicked appearance Wang Yan’s eyes still remained ice-cold at the sight, but after a moment of silence, he stretched out his hand to untie the cloak tied to himself, and with a wave of his big hand, the broad cape spread out like a cloud of mist over her head. And then slowly fell covering Nan Yan’s body.
Nan Yan raised her head in astonishment. Yan Wang was already turning around and walking out without glancing back.
At this moment, Nan Yan somewhat could not dare to believe. Giving a look at the still stained with a lot of blood cloak. She gnashed her teeth before scrambling to wrap the cloak around her body and rolled herself out of the bed.
By this time the outside was already a mess; she was barefoot, and stepped onto the already burning hot floor. But she walked step by step following Yan Wang from behind.
