Chapter 3: A Sword and Icy Jade Skin
Nan Yan’s heart skipped a beat. That tall figure was frightening to look at.
The large fire outside the Palace Hall was still burning. Being so near to the light she was unable to clearly see this man’s appearance, She could only see that this scrupulous, fearless man in military armor appeared ruthless. He was holding a long sword that shined from the raging inferno; giving off a sense of an unpleasantly cold feeling.
There was even some blood left on the point of his sword. As that man entered the room all the way, blood dripped behind him all the way!
He strode towards the bed, but upon seeing Nan Yan in the bed he promptly wrinkled his brow and howled:
His tone was filled with doubt and surprise. He did not think he would happen upon such a scene. Nan Yan lifted up her head, using this chance and with the help of the outside flames to catch a glimpse of this man.
He was probably a little more than thirty years of age, a handsome appearance, but unlike most ordinary men his facial features were deep and sharp like an unsheathe sword. Giving a sense of ‘planning to sweep everything before one’; a sharp sense.
Even though at that time Nan Yan saw that the normally cold face was stunned.
The man narrowed his eyes, gliding down from her face. Nan Yan bowed her head to look down. It was only that the original quilt covering her had already slipped down. Her chest was like a beautiful springtime scene; the sight of something sexy, all present before the eyes of this man. In particular, the glow from the rising fire outside the door was shining on her body, the snow-white skin was shining even more.
On one side it was like a sharp sword, on the other side it was like the fragrance of frosted, powdered, white jade skin….This scene has a type of bizarre meaning. But also, again it makes people feel a little of an uncanny temptation.
That man’s typical indifferent look in that moment slightly flickered.
Just at this time the flames outside started to shine even brighter. The fire unexpectedly had already started burning the beams of the Qin Palace. Flames appeared on the roof, and soon swallowed up several layers of drapery at the door. A group of drapery that had burned to the ground was swept up by the wind blowing outside and came straight towards the man’s back. Nan Yan yelled in fear:
The man’s brow wrinkled up. But his head did not turn. Swinging his long sword with a backhand the blaze of fire was caught by his sword. He than flicked it aside into the corner, causing the corner of the room to burst into flames.
The fire sparked in all directions but this man from the beginning till the end did not blink once.
What a terrible man!
Even though at this time there was a fire fiend raging all around her, however Nan Yan was still more fearful of this man’s acuity and cold-heartedness.
When he finished this task, he turned again and looked around. Sharp eyes looked around the Qin Palace, as if looking for something. Looking at those sharp eagle-like eyes Nan Yan faintly understood. He was certainly here searching for—-the Emperor!
And this man, He was wearing a sword, wearing armor, and his body was dripping with blood. Apparently he slaughtered his way into the palace.
Who exactly is he?
As Nan Yan thought about this, the man had looked at the whole Qin Palace thoroughly and made sure that there was not a third person, so he turned around and did not look back.
Nan Yan was suddenly worried.
The Qin Palace has been set ablaze. Does he really want to be buried in flames when he leaves? Seeing that the man had reached the door, Nan Yan’s heart hurriedly rushed out from a weak sore throat and with a slightly trembling voice—-
“Your Majesty, please save me!”
