Chapter 0 - Prologue (19)
Sun Ha’s husband was so drunk that the chauffeur was needed to help him through the door of the house. He couldn’t move on his own at this point, but he was a strong young man with a high tolerance. Just how much had he needed to drink to end up like this? She couldn’t even begin to find an answer as someone who never really drank.
He was always picture-perfect, except for one day out of every year, where he would let it all loose like this. It was the anniversary of the day he lost his father, stepmother, and his half-sibling all in one day due to a sudden airplane crash. In the past, he’d told her with a cynical smile that he needed to act like this to prove that, despite what it seemed, he had some warm blood flowing through his veins.
However, Sun Ha wondered if he was really just putting on a show to others that he had emotions, or if he truly did feel extremely under the weather whenever this day arrived.
She wanted to tell him that it was alright to show his true emotions when he was in front of her. Even if his feelings weren’t the average universal emotions of sadness and longing for deceased close family members. Even if the feelings he showed her were filled with resentment and anger towards them instead.
However, Sun Ha couldn’t speak out a single word of those heartfelt feelings. She could clearly imagine how he would glare at her with cold eyes if she were to overstep her role by saying that to him.
“Thank you for bringing him in. Please be careful on your way back.”
The chauffeur had looked to be struggling when he brought her husband into the bedroom, as her husband was as tall as an athlete and had a strong physique, but the man gave a disciplined bow in response to her words and left the room.
As the faint sound of the front door closing was heard, Sun Ha turned her gaze towards her husband who was lying on his side on the bed.
The spacious bedroom was only lit by a dim nightlight, but the room was not dark at all due to the city lights leaking into the room through the window. Her husband’s face, darkened with a moody shadow, filled her eyes which were as calm as a still lake.
His appearance was astoundingly handsome as if a sculptor had put their soul and heart into making sure that he looked the absolute peak of aesthetics. His strong, sleek jawline and his perfectly tanned skin doubly added to his sexy and manly appearance.
Under his thick eyelashes and currently closed eyelids were dark eyes with hints of blue in them. His gaze was intense, enough to freeze you to the spot and make your heart race at the same time.
Her husband was seductive, and everyone would agree.
Back when she was dating Kyung Min, who was quite famous in her class, her female classmates were constantly talking behind her back. They would always smile smugly at her as if they still believed they had a chance with him. The moment they learned that she would be the wife of Choi Do Ook, it was as if their smug masks had broken into pieces, replaced completely by scowls. Though her classmates had never met her husband, he was still such a huge catch for her that anyone would explode into jealousy right away.
On the day the news article of her marriage was published, all the girls were anxious to hurt her with their sharp tongues. So much so that they came to visit her even though she hadn’t graduated school yet due to a two-year break.
“You were so desperate to seduce Kang Kyung Min sunbae this whole time, and now you’re marrying before you even graduate, huh? Congratulations.”
“So Kyung Min sunbae broke up with you, and now you’re with Choi Do Ook? You’re really blowing up in proportion, aren’t you? Did you plan all this beforehand? I can be a manipulative woman sometimes, but you’re way worse.”
“Just what kind of talent do you have? I’m asking you this with honesty. Aside from the fact that your face is a bit better than others, there’s nothing else special about you. How could an orphan like you, who has no money or backing from elites, get into that household like that?”
“People who have nothing usually work harder to achieve their goals than others. We can’t get to her level even if we were to die and be reborn again. Well, do you really think a marriage with such a difference between the wife and husband will last very long? Don’t you think so as well?”
The three classmates that came to see Sun Ha were openly hostile, with venomous looks in their eyes. One of them was someone who’d had an arranged marriage interview with Do Ook in the past. Sun Ha had heard by chance that her classmate resented Do Ook for leaving the interview less than 10 minutes after it began.
Sun Ha wasn’t really shocked or surprised by their contempt and scorn towards her, as her classmates had only been politely suppressing it this whole time. The reason why they were suddenly here raging at her like this was probably that Do Ook was considered an unscalable wall. They hadn’t even been able to spend 10 minutes with him, yet now he had chosen Yu Sun Ha, a woman of much lower status.
They tried their best in order to make Sun Ha’s face crack even a little bit in fear, but Sun Ha instead replied to them with a calm, thin smile. She knew very well just how she was able to crush their pride and self-respect from the simple fact that they were all ignored in favor of a dirt-poor orphan like her.
Sun Ha’s prediction seemed to be on point, as they showed no patience and immediately attacked her back with more words, “Say something, at least!”
Instead of staying silent, Sun Ha chose to avoid dealing with their hatred altogether.
“Thank you all for coming all the way to congratulate me personally for my marriage when you’re all so busy. If you can, please come to the ceremony as well. I’m sure you’re all very curious about my husband, so I’ll introduce him to you when I have some time.” Sun Ha gave a laid-back smile as if she hadn’t heard any of their scathing words. She had already learned from a young age that puffing up her cheeks, arguing loudly, and making a fuss would only end up making her laugh at her pathetic existence even more.
Instead of curling up defensively, Sun Ha replied without hesitation, her gaze even. Seeing this made her classmates’ neatly primmed-up expressions turn into scowls as their skin reddened. Her classmates had always considered Yu Sun Ha a pushover who would still smile even if they bullied her. They never expected that she was someone who was experienced in dealing with a situation like this.
Sun Ha pushed away those hated memories to a corner of her mind, and she gently went towards the bed and reached out towards the dark blue necktie around her husband’s neck. It was actually amazing that it was still on his neck in a perfect shape even though he was drunk to the point of not being able to walk properly.
She untied his necktie and undid the top two buttons of his shirt so that he would be able to breathe more easily. Though it was simple for her to take his socks off next, the problem was the step afterward. She had to take off her husband’s clothing as he laid there on his back, but it seemed impossible for Sun Ha with her strength.
His body, which had been tempered with high-intensity training, looked hard yet sleek. Even though his muscles were chiseled to perfection, Sun Ha was on the smaller side for a woman, so he was easily twice her size.
Sun Ha had learned how a man’s body could look as mesmerizing as a masterpiece when she spent nights together with her husband. Still, while she would usually be amazed at his perfectly sculpted body, in this situation she couldn’t help but be troubled by it.
Whinging audibly, she tried her best to take off his black suit jacket. Even just lifting up one of his arms was like picking up a rock, and pulling his sleeve off left her out of breath. When he tossed his body slightly to the side in his sleep, she made sure not to miss the chance and was just able to strip off the jacket from his body.
“Ah, there we go,” Sun Ha whispered to herself, her forehead glistening with small droplets of sweat. However, the next problem was even more troublesome. Her hand, which was awkwardly hovering over his belt, trembled slightly.
People would laugh at her if they learned that even after three years of marriage she still hesitated so much in taking off her husband’s pants. Even though every day they would embrace each other deeply into the night, she was still embarrassed when touching him.
Closing her eyes tightly before opening them again, she carefully undid his belt. Unbuttoning his pants and pulling down his zipper went easier than she expected.
After pulling his pants off and looking back up, she realized the reason why. Her eyes became locked onto his large, manly bulge that had grown in the center of his boxers. He wasn’t sleeping at all.
“…If you were awake this whole time, you could have helped me out a bit. It was difficult taking off your clothes alone,” Sun Ha criticized her husband in a low voice, her cheeks growing pink as she realized that his male instinct had woken up.
Do Ook opened his eyes. “The moment you laid your hand on my rod, I woke up immediately. Automatically.”
Hearing his husky voice, Sun Ha’s shoulders shivered slightly. His sleep leadened voice sounded extremely sexy, making the hair on the back of her neck stand up.
“I never… laid my hands on it.”
“I’m definitely sure you did. That’s why it’s raging so hard.” His rod, still stuck beneath his underwear, flared up over and over as if it was desperate to escape its prison.
“I had to take it off so there was no other way but for me to…” Sun Ha shyly tried to explain her reasoning.
It was more like her hand barely grazed it rather than touching it directly. And her husband, filled with youth and vigor, already became that hard from it.
“You’re the one who made it hard like this, so you have to take care of it.”
“Take… care of it?” Sun Ha looked down shyly and fiddled with the bed’s soft blanket, but there was no way for her to avoid having her blushing face give away that she knew what he meant.
“You know that the more you pretend to be oblivious like that, the hornier I get. Are you doing this on purpose?”
“…No I’m not.”
“It’s not just my neck that’s bothered from being tightly choked. Can’t you see that my little guy is bothered by not being able to breathe?” He propped up his body on one arm and pointed at his crotch with his gaze. Even though his voice sounded insensitive, for some reason she heard some mischief in it.
“Are you going to just stay there, not doing anything?” he asked.
Feeling his constant pressure, Sun Ha couldn’t find the proper place to rest her eyes. They kept wandering everywhere as she slowly, hesitantly, started to move her hand. Though she was still extremely shy about it, this wasn’t the first time she’d done this, so it wasn’t like she was at a loss.
Her hand glided against the top part of the smooth silk boxers and made a soft, provocative rustling sound that echoed across the room.
Sun Ha’s hand carefully reached the band of his boxers. Slowly, she pulled it down below his hips. His rod, until then crushed inside under the confined space, whipped out like a coiled spring as it swung back and forth in the air.
Sun Ha gasped.
No matter how many times she saw it, it still looked menacingly huge. Trying desperately to look away from the powerful presence of his rod, she looked down towards his thick and hard thighs. He lifted his legs to help her completely take off his underwear.
When she’d first seen it, she never believed his dangerous, weapon-like length would fit inside of her completely. She had honestly been afraid, thinking that he would rip her to pieces the moment he entered her.
Her excessive imaginings hadn’t turned out to be true, but the first time he’d embraced her the pain had been enough to make her think she would faint from it.
Seeing Sun Ha hesitate as she remembered her first time with him, Do Ook simply kept urging her to keep going with persistent silence.
Sun Ha’s hand had stopped midair for a moment as she hesitated, but she moved it again to softly grasp his dark rod. It was so hot, hard, and thick in her hand that it made her flinch. It pulsed in her hand as if it had a mind of its own, making Sun Ha feel nervous to her core.
She avoided looking up into her husband’s eyes from her position between his spread open legs. One of her hands softly grasped the base of his rod as the other, barely wrapped around the thick column of him, began to slowly move up and down. Her hands felt familiar yet somewhat clumsy as she stroked his rod.
