Synopsis
On the day she proposed to him, the day she married him, and even the day she first embraced him, Sun Ha had a small lingering hope that he’d end up falling deeper in love with her; that perhaps, in the future, she would be the wife of his true self.
“You’re the one who made me like this,” he said, looking at her. “Take care of it.”
“Take…care of it?”
“You know,” he clicked his tongue, “The more you pretend obliviousness, the hornier I become. Do you do this on purpose?”
As three years passed, the seasons came and went. When she spent numerous nights under the starry skies and under his tenacious touch, Sun Ha couldn’t figure out whether her birthday mattered more to him than a lustful sex. She knew deep inside that their marriage was at its wit’s end, and to want more than that was her fault.
“Let’s separate.”
She decided to divorce him. She needed to be a woman whose existence did not revolve around his needs but a woman who felt love and gave love.
